- However, the girl’s child can take their benefit amount from the bank account at the age of the year 18 years. That means the girl child will get all the benefits of the government at the age of 18 years.
- Not all girl children will get benefits under this scheme. This scheme will not give benefits to the girls’ children who are living below the poverty line level.
- To take advantage of the scheme, one condition is required for the people that are the person should be permanent residents of India.
- If the daughter is getting married before the age of 18 years, then the benefits of the scheme will not be given to them. Coverage of beneficiaries is 12357 girl child as till date.
