The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.

Pay Scale: Pay Level-I, Rs. 18000 – 56,900 for the post of sepoy in NCB, and Pay Level-III, Rs 21,700 – 69,100 for all other posts.
Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01.01.2023. All age relaxation will be applied as per government rules for Reserved Category
Educational Qualification: 10th PASS (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
Physical Standards:
- For Males: 170 cms
- For Females: 157 cms
- For males only – Unexpanded: 80 cms. – Expanded: Min expansion 5 cms.

- For males and Females: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Application Fee: Rupees Hundred only (Rs. 100.00) payable through CRF stamps for offline application or SBI Challan or online payment through SBI Challan /Net banking/credit /debit cards in the case of online application. The fee is exempted for all Women candidates and Reserved Category candidates

- Click on the “Apply Online” Tab
- The new window will be displayed on the screen
- Click on the “GD-Constable” Tab
- Start filling out the online application form by filling in the Necessary information such as – Name, Address, E-mail, Mobile Number, Category Educational Qualifications, etc.
- Fill in an identification mark in SSC Constable GD. (The mark will be checked at the time of the physical test)
- Pay the fees to confirm your registration that will only be considered after the payment of the application fee
- Print copy of registration form for future reference
