The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has released a notification for the post of Assistant Accountant. There are a total of 33 vacancies.
UPPCL Assistant Accountant Syllabus 2023
The online application was closed on 29/09/020. The exam will be held in March 2021. The selection process will be done online only with the help of a Computer-based test (CBT).
UPPCL Assistant Accountant Syllabus 2023 Exam Pattern:
- Computer-based test.
- It will be done in two parts.
- First part: 50 questions
- Second part: 150 questions
- Negative marking as 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
First Part:
- Total Questions: 50 questions
- Each question will carry 1 mark.
- Total mark: 50 marks
- Score a minimum of 50% because it is compulsory
Second Part:
- Total Questions: 150 questions
- Each question will carry 1 mark.
- Total mark: 150 marks.

- Double Accounts System
- Trading and Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet
- Bank Reconciliation Statement
- Rectification of errors
- Balance Sheet formats & classification
Auditing & Income Tax:
- Object of Audit
- Vouching and Verification
- Rights, Duties, and Liabilities of Auditors
- Provisions relating to TDS & forms to be filled with Income Tax Department
- Income Tax, Provisions about income from salary, and Provisions related to chapter-VI of Income Tax Act 1961.
