The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has released a notification for the post of Assistant Accountant. There are a total of 33 vacancies.

UPPCL Assistant Accountant Syllabus 2023

The online application was closed on 29/09/020. The exam will be held in March 2021. The selection process will be done online only with the help of a Computer-based test (CBT).

UPPCL Assistant Accountant Syllabus 2023 Exam Pattern:

1. Computer-based test.
2. It will be done in two parts.
3. First part: 50 questions
4. Second part: 150 questions
5. Negative marking as 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.

First Part:

1. Total Questions: 50 questions
2. Each question will carry 1 mark.
3. Total mark: 50 marks
4. Score a minimum of 50% because it is compulsory

Second Part:

1. Total Questions: 150 questions
2. Each question will carry 1 mark.
3. Total mark: 150 marks.

Accountancy:

1. Bills of Exchange
2. Self-balancing ledgers and sectional balancing
3. Capital & Revenue
4. Receipts & Payments
5. Income & Expenditure Accounts
6. Depreciation, Reserve & Provisions
7. Branch and Departmental Accounts
8. Double Accounts System
9. Trading and Profit & Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet
10. Bank Reconciliation Statement
11. Rectification of errors
12. Balance Sheet formats & classification

Auditing & Income Tax:

1. Object of Audit
2. Vouching and Verification
3. Rights, Duties, and Liabilities of Auditors
4. Provisions relating to TDS & forms to be filled with Income Tax Department
5. Income Tax, Provisions about income from salary, and Provisions related to chapter-VI of Income Tax Act 1961.
